The Harkness Foundation is accepting applications for their Dance Grants. Description The Harkness Foundation for Dance is a private grant-making foundation dedicated to invigorating and supporting the dance art fo rm, predominantly in New York City. Since its inception the Foundation has contributed significantly to the dance field, extending grants to over 560 organizations. The Harkness Board of Trustees meets three times annually to consider proposals.

Dread Scott is a community-engaged artist and his fiscally-sponsored project, Slave Rebellion Reenactment, was a winner of the 2016 MAP Fund Award. Taking place in New Orleans, Louisiana, November 8-9, 2019, the Slave Rebellion Reenactment is a community-engaged artistic performance and film production.

The California Arts Council is accepting applications for their Arts & Public Media Opportunity. Description Arts and Public Media supports multiplatform media projects by nonprofit media organizations that build public awareness and support for the arts. Supported projects engage Californians with authentic local stories and experiences centered on the value of arts, culture, and creative expression within California.

The New York Foundation for the Arts is accepting applications for The NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre. Description: The NYC Women’s Fund for Media, Music and Theatre provides grants to encourage and support the creation of digital, film, music, television, and live theatre content that reflects the voices and perspectives of all who identify as women.

Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation is accepting applications for USArtists International (USAI). Description: USArtists International supports performances by U.S. artists at important cultural festivals and arts marketplaces around the globe. Committed to the presence of U.S.-based artists on world stages, USArtists International provides grants to ensembles and individual performers in dance, music and theatre invited to perform at significant international festivals and performing arts markets.

Center for Cultural Innovation is accepting applications for The Investing in Artists grants program. Description: The Investing in Artists grants program was established by the Center for Cultural Innovation (CCI) in 2007 to enhance the working lives and strengthen the creative support system for California artists working in all disciplines. Since that time, with the support of The James Irvine Foundation and The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, CCI has awarded over $2 million to 270 diverse artists working in various disciplines across the state.
