Every month, Fractured Atlas provides a list of upcoming grants and opportunities for artists and arts-based projects so that you can discover more opportunities to get financial support and other resources for your work. Artadia Awards: Atlanta
The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure, and recognition to artists. Awardees receive unrestricted funds of $15,000. Applicants must be a contemporary visual artist, making artwork for presentation in a contemporary art context.

BICA Microgrant
The Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art (BICA) Microgrant is a $300 good-faith grant for artists and curators who are realizing a project in the greater Buffalo area.

Ellis-Beauregard Composer Award
The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation Composer Award is open to US-based composers at any stage of their careers. The award includes a $50,000 commission to compose a new orchestral work and a week-long residency in Maine. There is no application fee.

Grant for Artists' Practice
Mophradat's Grants for Artists' Practice program provides artists with critical feedback and flexible financial support in grants of either $4,000 or $8,000 that can be used towards their livelihood, periods of research, residencies, the production of new work, and curating and presenting shows, amongst other forms of artistic work. Artists and collectives from and in the Arab world are eligible to apply.

The Delaware Division of the Arts' Artist Opportunity Grant supports unique professional and artistic development and presentation opportunities for artists. Applicants can request up to 80% of the opportunity cost not to exceed $1,000.

Craft Research Fund Grant
The Center for Craft's Craft Research Fund supports new and interdisciplinary research about craft in the United States. National Sculpture Society Grants
The National Sculpture Society (NSS) is awarding two grants. The Marilyn Newmark Memorial Grant is a $5,000 prize for a sculptor specializing in animal sculpture. The Alex J. Ettl Grant is a $5,000 prize awarded to a figurative or realist sculptor. There is no application fee for either grant.

W. Eugene Smith Fund Grants
The W. Eugene Smith Fund offers three grants. The W. Eugene Smith Fund Grant supports visual storytellers whose photographic work renews the tradition of Smith's career as a photographic essayist. There is a $50 application fee. The W. Eugene Smith Grant for Student Photographers is open to students over the age of 18. There is a $10 application fee. The Howard Chapnick Grant supports programs in fields such as editing, research, education, and management as they relate to photojournalism and documentary photography. There is a $25 voluntary donation to apply.

Banff Artist in Residence: Early Career
Banff Artist in Residence: Early Career in Alberta, Canada, is an immersive program of studio practice, creative exploration, critical feedback, and mentorship, for visual artists of all ages in the early stages of their careers. There is a $65 application fee.

Penland Core Fellowship Program
The Penland Core Fellowship Program in Mitchell County, North Carolina, is a two-year work-study fellowship for early career artists looking to expand technical skills and material fluency while working to support the day-to-day operations of a craft school. Art Omi Residencies
Art Omi in Columbia County, New York, has five distinct residency programs, three of which are accepting applications until mid-October. Art Omi: Architecture aims to nurture experimentation at the intersection of architecture, art, and landscape. Art Omi: Artists offers concentrated time for creative work balanced with the stimulation of cultural exchange and critical appraisal. Art Omi: Writers hosts authors and translators, providing exposure for global literary voices.

Ora Schneider Regional Residency Grant
Women's Studio Workshop's Ora Schneider Regional Residency Grant is a month-long residency in Rosendale, New York, for regional artists. Priority will be given to artists with experience and a working knowledge of etching, intaglio, or monoprint; letterpress; papermaking; screenprinting; photography; or ceramics. The grant includes a $1,500 stipend.

National Gallery of Art Fellowships
The Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts at the National Gallery of Art awards fellowships to scholars across various career levels. Senior Fellowships provide scholars with the opportunity to conduct full-time research in residence at the Center. Postdoctoral Fellowships are two-year, residential appointments that support research and writing for publication.

A.R.T./New York provides grants to theaters of all sizes through a number of regranting programs, two of which are currently accepting applications. The Creative Opportunity Fund provides general operating support to small professional theaters throughout New York State. The Small Theatres Fund is a two-year general operating support grant to New York City-based theater companies.

Wildacres Residency Programs
Wildacres Retreat's Residency Program in Little Switzerland, North Carolina, hosts writers, artisans, and musicians of all artistic disciplines for one-week residencies.
