The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure, and recognition to artists. In addition to unrestricted funds of $15,000, awardees can participate in the Artadia Network to receive structured opportunities for new connections and resource sharing as well as receive a dedicated webpage on Artadia’s online artist registry. Applicants must be a contemporary visual artist making artwork for presentation in a contemporary art context: museum, galleries, arts nonprofit, the public art realm, etc.

In this digital-first cycle of the Eyebeam Fellowship, artists are called to bring their innate mental, spiritual, and physical aspects of what it means to be human into play with technology to affirm humanity’s role as creators, not spectators, of our collective techno-future. Mophradat developed its Grants for Artists’ Practice program with two components: providing artists with flexible financial support that can be used towards their livelihood, periods of research, residencies, the production of new work, and curating and presenting shows, amongst other forms of artistic work; and a structured dialogue between the participating artists amongst themselves as well as one-on-one dialogue with peers (from the advisory committee). The program provides grants of either $4,000 or $8,000 and is designed for artists or collectives from and in the Arab world.

Applicants from associated fields who do not hold a PhD but have commensurate professional experience will also be considered.

Two winners will each receive four free weeks of BigCi residency and $4,000 in prize money.

Monument Lab’s Re:Generation initiative supports team of two or more individuals working together to create a new or expand an existing public-facing project. Each selected team will receive a total of $100,000 in unrestricted funding towards their commemorative campaign or project. For this round, preference will be given to teams operating in states which have passed legislation limiting the teaching of accurate and diverse American history.

The National Endowment for the Humanities Dangers and Opportunities of Technology program supports research that examines technology and its relationship to society through the lens of the humanities, with a focus on the dangers and/or opportunities presented by technology. The Center/YCBA Postdoctoral Fellowship supports research for recent or soon-to-be PhDs in the history, theory, and criticism of modern and contemporary visual arts who are from historically marginalized or disadvantaged groups.

The award invites previously unpublished and unagented writers from underrepresented backgrounds to submit a nonfiction book proposal on any topic within any branch of psychology. The selected applicant will receive the opportunity to enter a publishing contract with a $50,000 advance.

The New York City Small Theatres Fund is a two-year general operating support grant to NYC-based theater companies with annual budgets below $250,000. The Creative Opportunity Fund provides general operating support grants of $2,000-$5,000 to small professional theaters with budgets under $500,000 working throughout New York State.
