Artadia Awards: Atlanta
The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure, and recognition to artists. In addition to unrestricted funds of $15,000, awardees can participate in the Artadia Network to receive structured opportunities for new connections and resource sharing as well as receive a dedicated webpage on Artadia’s online artist registry. Applicants must be a contemporary visual artist making artwork for presentation in a contemporary art context: museum, galleries, arts nonprofit, the public art realm, etc.

Composer Award
The Ellis-Beauregard Foundation Composer Award is open to composers in any stage of their careers. The award is a $50,000 commission to compose a new orchestral work, 15 to 20 minutes in length, to be premiered by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra during their ‘24-’25 season.

Eyebeam Fellowship
In this digital-first cycle of the Eyebeam Fellowship, artists are called to bring their innate mental, spiritual, and physical aspects of what it means to be human into play with technology to affirm humanity’s role as creators, not spectators, of our collective techno-future. Grants for Artists’ Practice
Mophradat developed its Grants for Artists’ Practice program with two components: providing artists with flexible financial support that can be used towards their livelihood, periods of research, residencies, the production of new work, and curating and presenting shows, amongst other forms of artistic work; and a structured dialogue between the participating artists amongst themselves as well as one-on-one dialogue with peers (from the advisory committee). The program provides grants of either $4,000 or $8,000 and is designed for artists or collectives from and in the Arab world.

Getty Scholars Program
The Getty Scholars Program supports researchers in advancing knowledge of the arts and humanities and producing cutting-edge scholarship that contributes to the understanding and preservation of cultural heritage. This year’s theme is “extinction.” Scholar grant applicants should have received a PhD before September 1, 2020. Applicants from associated fields who do not hold a PhD but have commensurate professional experience will also be considered.

BigCi Environmental Awards
Australian and international artists from various fields – visual art, installation, multimedia, performance, literature, music, photography, film making, curating – are invited to submit entires for the Bilpin International Ground for Creative Initiatives (BigCi) Environmental Awards. Two winners will each receive four free weeks of BigCi residency and $4,000 in prize money.

Re:Generation
Monument Lab’s Re:Generation initiative supports team of two or more individuals working together to create a new or expand an existing public-facing project. Each selected team will receive a total of $100,000 in unrestricted funding towards their commemorative campaign or project. Westchester County Poet Laureate
ArtsWestchester’s Poet Laureate program embraces both written and spoken poetic traditions, and seeks to promote poetry as a medium that defies boundaries and categories, serves as a platform for underrepresented voices, and offers a space for personal reflection and healing. Embracing Our Differences
Embracing Our Differences is an annual international outdoor art exhibit featuring work created by local, national and international artists reflecting their interpretation of the theme, “enriching lives through diversity and inclusion. Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program for Visual and Multidisciplinary Artists
New York Foundation for the Arts’ Immigrant Artist Mentoring Program is open to visual artists from all disciplines and provided free of charge to accepted participants. Brooklyn Arts Council Grants Cycle
Applications for Brooklyn Arts Council’s 2024 Grants Cycle, SU-CASA Creative Aging, Global Rhythms, and AIE Performing Groups are now open. Community Arts Grants include the Brooklyn Arts Fund, Local Arts Support, and the Charlene Victor & Ella J. Weiss Cultural Entrepreneur Fund. Dangers and Opportunities of Technology: Perspectives from the Humanities
The National Endowment for the Humanities Dangers and Opportunities of Technology program supports research that examines technology and its relationship to society through the lens of the humanities, with a focus on the dangers and/or opportunities presented by technology. The program supports projects led by individual researchers (up to $75,000) and by collaborative teams (up to $150,000), but the applicants must be institutions.

The National Gallery of Art is offering a few fellowships this month. Senior fellowships support research on various visual art eras. Postdoctoral fellowships are awarded biennially for two consecutive academic years. Little, Brown Spark, an imprint of Hachette Book Group, in partnership with Psychotherapy Networker, is announcing the New Voices Award, a new opportunity aimed at amplifying the work of underrepresented experts in the field of psychology. The award invites previously unpublished and unagented writers from underrepresented backgrounds to submit a nonfiction book proposal on any topic within any branch of psychology. The selected applicant will receive the opportunity to enter a publishing contract with a $50,000 advance.

Ora Schneider Regional Residency Grant
Women's Studio Workshop's Ora Schneider Regional Residency Grant is a month-long residency for artists residing in the New York counties of Greene, Columbia, Delaware, Dutchess, Ulster, Sullivan, and Orange. Priority will be given to artists with experience and a working knowledge of etching, intaglio, or monoprint; letterpress; papermaking; screenprinting; photography; or ceramics. A.R.T./New York provides grants to theaters of all sizes through two regranting programs this month. The New York City Small Theatres Fund is a two-year general operating support grant to NYC-based theater companies with annual budgets below $250,000. The Creative Opportunity Fund provides general operating support grants of $2,000-$5,000 to small professional theaters with budgets under $500,000 working throughout New York State.

Shubert Foundation Grants
The Shubert Foundation is dedicated to sustaining and advancing the live performing arts in the United States, with a particular emphasis on theater and a secondary focus on dance. The Arts Related Organizations program provides funding for organizations that help support the development of theater and dance.
