Every month, Fractured Atlas provides a list of upcoming grants and opportunities for artists and arts-based projects so that you can discover more opportunities to get financial support and other resources for your work. Artadia Awards: Houston
The Artadia Awards provide financial support, exposure, and recognition to artists. Awardees receive unrestricted funds of $15,000. Applicants must be a contemporary visual artist, making artwork for presentation in a contemporary art context.

LMCC Arts Center Residency
Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's Arts Center Residency at Governors Island offers an eight-month studio-based residency to artists and creative practitioners working in any discipline whose work is concerned with the broader themes of climate justice, the environment, sustainability, and urban ecology. There is no application fee.

Shearing Fellowship
Black Mountain Institute's Shearing Fellowship is a working fellowship in Las Vegas, Nevada, open to emerging and distinguished writers who have published at least one book with a trade or literary press. The nine-month program includes a compensation of $46,500. There is no application fee.

Fellowship for Americans in the Nordic Countries

Dumbarton Oaks Fellowships & Project Grants
The Dumbarton Oaks fellowship program offers a variety of fellowships: Research Fellowships, the I Tatti-Dumbarton Oaks Joint Fellowship, and the Mellon Fellowship in Democracy and Landscape Studies. Project Grants are also available to cover direct costs of scholarly projects.

Community Engagement Grants
The Bronx Council on the Arts' Community Engagement Grants are divided into three grants. New Work supports individual Bronx-based artists. Arts Fund supports Bronx-based individual artists, artist collectives, and 501(c)(3) arts organizations with an organizational budget below $100,000. Community Arts supports local nonprofit organizations.

The David Prize

Wassaic Project Summer Residency
Summer residents at the Wassaic Project work out of 200-300 square foot studios in the Luther Barn, a historic livestock barn in the heart of Wassaic, New York. Wherewithal Grant
Wherewithal Grants are a funding source for artists in the Washington, D.C. area, intended to support a wide range of experimental and multidisciplinary practices, particularly those that emphasize collaboration and discourse. The two grants offered are $7,500 Project & Presentation Grants and $5,000 Research Grants.

Conservation Fellowship and Scientific Research Fellowship
The Conservation Fellowship and Scientific Research Fellowship, as part of the Met Fellowship Program, are divided into junior and senior programs. Recent master's graduates, PhD candidates, postdoctoral scholars, and senior scientists and researchers are eligible to apply. Junior fellows receive a stipend of $47,000, and senior fellows receive a stipend of $57,000.

San Francisco International Film (SFFILM) Festival
The San Francisco International Film (SFFILM) Festival features a range of marquee premieres, international competitions, compelling documentaries, and short and mid-length films. Call for Art Recognizing Enslavement
The Yale Committee for Art Recognizing Enslavement will work with members of the campus and New Haven communities to commission works of art and related programming to address Yale's historical roles and associations with slavery and the slave trade as well as the legacy of that history. The Committee is collecting proposals for art – permanent or ephemeral – and related programming. The program includes an artist stipend, residencies for long-term or permanent works, and project grants ranging from $100,000 to $500,000 in the next 3-5 years.
