Cleveland Arts Prize: Discipline Prize
Cleveland Arts Prize promotes creativity in northeast Ohio by honoring artists for artistic excellence and recognizes community leaders who help regional arts flourish. Artists with a connection or contribution to the region are encouraged to apply for a Discipline Prize of $10,000.

Constellations Folk Arts & Cultural Stewardship Grant
The Center for Cultural Power invites California-based organizations who are led by cultural bearers and who are working through traditional and tradition-based forms and practices to apply for one-year, flexible, general operating support regrants. The anticipated grant award range is $25,000 to $150,000 for one year.

Curatorial Advancement Grant
The Tremaine Foundation's Curatorial Advancement Grant program is made up to two sections. Peer Network Grant requests support network opportunities that advance curatorial knowledge and strengthen US curatorial practices. Innovation Grant requests are designed to support a project, initiative, or opportunity not previously explored in the local curatorial space, or an emerging trend that is under-resourced. The Foundation's focus is contemporary art. Funding ranges from $500 to $10,000.

Bed-Stuy Create & Connect Fund
The Laundromat Project's Bed-Stuy Create & Connect Fund is a hyperlocal micro-grant program that seeds and supports the creative ideas or civic actions of artists, cultural practitioners, community organizers, activists, and neighbors whose proposals aim to enrich community life in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. OAC Grant Opportunities for Individual Artists
The Ohio Arts Council (OAC) offers awards that recognize excellence, preserve cultural traditions, and offer development support. The Artist Opportunities grants support Ohio artists who have opportunities that will significantly impact their professional growth or have projects that will contribute to the vitality of their community. The Artists with Disabilities Access Program (ADAP) provides funding that gives individual artists with disabilities the resources they need to further their artistic development.

Braiding Seeds Fellowship
The Braiding Seeds Fellowship, a project of Soul Fire Farm Institute in collaboration with the Federation of Southern Cooperatives/Land Assistance Fund, provides beginning farmers with resources, professional development, and mentorship to support their livelihood on land. Fellows receive a $50,000 stipend. This program is for Black, Indigenous, and people of color farmers based in the northeast and southeast of the United States, including all states and territories that touch the Atlantic Ocean and its tidal arms.

The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts (NHSCA) offers two application opportunities in early May. The Arts in Health Project Grant supports arts experiences and artist residencies in health-based settings, or arts activities that deepen public health awareness and practice in New Hampshire communities. The Artist Entrepreneurial Grant supports the development of business skills, increase the level and quality of work, and bring work to the widest possible markets.

Fireline Fellowship
The Patricia Valian Reser Center for the Creative Arts (PRAx) at Oregon State University's Fireline Fellowship invites writers, artists, and thought leaders in the humanities to become part of a thinking community that will explore issues related to wildfire at the H.J. Staten Island Arts Grant Cycle
Staten Island Arts' grant cycle consists of two opportunities. The Howard Gilman Performing Arts Residency Cohort supports the creative practice of 10 performing artists living and working in Staten Island through a 6-month residency cohort. The Mertz Gilmore Dance Research Grant program supports the research and development of a new dance work by dance artists, dance collectives, or dance nonprofits at any stage of their careers.

The Wassaic Project is holding two open calls through early May. The Winter Residency offers studio space, accommodations, and access to the wood shop. The Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VCCA) is accepting applications for two opportunities through mid-May. The residency program at Mt. Women's Studio Workshop in Rosendale, NY, is accepting applications through mid-May for three opportunities. Submissions for the New York LGBTQ+ Film Festival, presented by NewFest, are now being accepted. Films should be inclusive of—and of interest to—the LGBTQ+ community. The Academy of American Poets is accepting submissions for two poetry prizes. The James Laughlin Award is given to recognize and support a second book of poetry forthcoming in the next calendar year. New York Foundation for the Arts, in partnership with the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, offer two grant programs for artists in emergency situations. The Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grant program provides one-time grants of up to $5,000 for recent unexpected medical, dental, and mental health emergencies to artists in financial need who are creating in the visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography. The Rauschenberg Dancer Emergency Grant program provides one-time grants of up to $3,000 to dancers in need who have a dire financial emergency.
