Wave Farm Transmission Arts Programs
Wave Farm’s Transmission Arts activities support artistic projects that engage the electromagnetic spectrum, transmitted on the airwaves and through public presentation. The Wave Farm Artist Residency Program is a 10-day residency for artists to develop new transmission artworks, emphasizing live performance for an expanded studio audience. The Wave Farm Radio Art Fellowship will be a one-month engagement, commencing with a 10-day stay followed by remote participation.

Watershed Summer Residency
Watershed's summer residency sessions offer artists uninterrupted time to focus on their practices in Watershed's ceramics studio. Any artist who is comfortable working independently in a clay studio may apply. There is a $25 application fee.

The John Michael Kohler Arts Center Arts/Industry Residency offers artists the time and space at the Kohler Co. factory to focus on the creation of new work. The 3-month program includes a weekly stipend of $160.

Mophradat Open Calls
Mophradat announced two open calls for contemporary performance artists and writers from the Arab world. The Art Time Residency is a 3-week residency in Belgium for artists to finalize a new performance and premier their work at NEXT Festival. Writing Sabbaticals support emerging creative writers working in contemporary fiction, nonfiction, and poetry with a stipend based on local livings costs in the writer’s country of residence.

HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP)
The HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP) provides a commission, developmental support, career planning, and an opportunity for a full production to cross-genre artists within a collaborative environment of peers working across disparate art forms. Each HARP artist receives $125,000 and services over 2-3 years to tailor each residency to each artist’s individual needs.

Fine Arts Work Center Visual Arts Fellowship
The Fine Arts Work Center Fellowship awards 7-month residencies to a group of emerging visual artists. Each fellow receives an apartment, a studio, and a monthly stipend of $1,250 plus an exit stipend of $1,000. There is a $65 application fee.

NYSCA Stabilization Program for Small Arts Organizations
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and New York Council of Nonprofits (NYCON) have launched a new pilot, the NYSCA Stabilization Program for Small Arts Organizations, that is designed to help participants to identify and solve a significant concern that is impeding their growth or development. Organizations with operating budgets up to $1 million are eligible.

CLBS Indigenous Writer in Residence
The SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry launched a new program, the Cranberry Lake Biological Station (CLBS) Indigenous Writer in Residence, providing Indigenous writers with the space, time, and place to explore their creative endeavors. The residency, located in the heart of the Adirondack Park, includes a $1,000 travel stipend and is open to Indigenous writers who write poetry, plays/screenplays, fiction/short stories, and/or nonfiction. There is no application fee.

New America National Fellows Program
New America’s National Fellows Program invests in thinkers—journalists, scholars, filmmakers, and public policy analysts—who generate big, bold ideas that have an impact and spark new conversations about the most pressing issues of our day. Stipends generally fall between $15,000 and $30,000.

Virginia A. Groot Foundation Grant
The Virginia A. Groot Foundation Grant was established so that ceramic sculpture artists or sculptors of diverse mediums may have the opportunity to devote a substantial period of time to the development of their work. The first place grant is $60,000; the second place grant is $30,000; the third place grant is $20,000. There is a $7 application fee.

Artist Entrepreneurial Grant
The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts’ Artist Entrepreneurial Grant recognizes the importance of the creative workforce to New Hampshire’s economy. This program supports opportunities that will benefit artists’ careers, including the development of business skills, participation in programs to raise the level and quality of their art, and participation in programs that will bring their art to the widest possible markets. Funding requests may be made for $250 - $1,000.

Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency
The Aviário Studio Large Format Printmaking Residency aims to promote the production and dissemination of printmaking done in a large format. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, and monotype, among others.

Cole Fellowship Program
The Thomas Cole National Historic Site offers a one-year residential fellowship. Cole Fellows participate in the research and interpretation of the work, home, and studios of the artist, Thomas Cole. Free on-site housing and a monthly $700 stipend is included.

South Arts Opportunities
South Arts has two opportunities with deadlines in early February. The Southern Prize and State Fellowships is open to visual artists to support, expose, and celebrate the breadth, depth and diversity of artistic excellence in the American South. There is a $25 application fee. The Individual Artist Career Opportunity Grant supports a milestone opportunity in an individual artist's career that is likely to lead to substantial and significant career advancement. Grants of up to $2,000 are available to Southern-based artists in the following disciplines: visual arts, craft, traditional arts/folklife, photography, performing arts, literary arts, media arts, interdisciplinary arts or multimedia arts.

Teiger Foundation Grant
Teiger Foundation awards grants in four categories. Single project grants of up to $150,000 support public-facing visual art projects by US-based curators. Grants of up to $150,000 support three years of programming by US-based curators at organizations with an annual operating budget of less than $3.5 million. Hosting grants of up to $75,000 support US-based curators or artistic directors presenting a contemporary visual art exhibition or project that originated elsewhere within the distinct context of their own institution and community. Grants of up to $50,000 are meant to offer support for curatorial research and development.

Sony Future Filmmaker Awards
The Sony Future Filmmaker Awards are aimed at breakthrough artists and independent filmmakers worldwide. The shortlisted filmmakers are flown to Los Angeles for a four-day event gaining insight into all aspects of the filmmaking process, followed by a four-day workshop program. Roman J. Witt Residency
The Roman J.
