The Empire State Fellows Program is a full-time leadership training program that prepares the next generation of talented professionals for careers as New York State policymakers. Fellows receive an annual salary of $85,000 and a benefits package.

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) Core Program awards residencies to visual artists and critical writers who have completed their undergraduate or graduate training and are working to develop a sustainable practice. The residency term is nine months and includes a $21,500 stipend and private studio or office.

Franklin Furnace annually awards grants to early career artists to enable them to produce major performance art works in New York City. Grants range between $2,000 and $10,000.

The Bemis residency is a process-based experience—residents have the ability to research, experiment, and explore free from expectations. US-based residents receive a $1,250 monthly stipend and an additional $750 travel stipend, while international residents are eligible to receive reimbursement of qualified expenses. Fire Island Artist Residency is the first residency in the US exclusively for artists identifying as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, nonbinary, intersex, two-spirit or queer. The Perelman Performing Arts Center (PAC NYC) is launching The Democracy Cycle, a new commissioning program designed to support new works that illuminate the promise, practice, imperfection, and opportunity of democracy. Proposals are requested for new performing arts works from artists working in theater, dance, music, opera, and multidisciplinary performance. A $30,000 commission will be awarded to each selected project.

Locust Projects' WaveMaker grants program awards up to $6,000 each in three categories: New Work/Projects, Long-Haul Projects, and Research & Development + Implementation. The American Library in Paris Visiting Fellowship offers writers and researchers an opportunity to pursue a creative project in Paris for a month or longer while participating actively in the life of the American Library. The program includes a $5,000 stipend. Researches, journalists, writers (both fiction and nonfiction), poets, screenwriters, playwrights, directors, and documentary filmmakers are encouraged to apply. There is a 30 € application fee.

Self as Universe residencies at A Studio in the Woods in New Orleans, Louisiana, invite artists to explore the connections within our collective ecosystems and use the power of imagination to heal the wounds in the relationship between ourselves and our communities. The program is open to artists of all disciplines who have demonstrated an established dialogue with environmental and cultural issues. Residents will be provides $3,000 as a stipend and $2,000 towards materials. There is a $25 application fee.

The Sound Art + Experimental Residency is for artists working in sound, composition, voice, and experimental music. There is a $40 application fee. National Sculpture Society's Dexter Jones Award grants $5,000 to a sculptor based on an outstanding work of sculpture in bas-relief. The use of figurative or realist sculpture or sculpture that is inspired by nature is of greatest interest. Applicants must have been born between 1984 and 2005 to be eligible.

Fellows receive $60,000 over three consecutive years.
