We’re thrilled to announce that Fractured Atlas is a gold level sponsor of the fifth annual 3D/DC, an annual 3D printing policy event on Capitol Hill that brings together members of the 3D printing community with Congressional offices to discuss policies that will encourage — rather than hinder — innovation within the industry.

3D/DC is an event run by our friends at Public Knowledge in conjunction with Congressman Mark Takano and the Congressional Maker Caucus. Courtney Duffy, our Arts and Technology Policy Fellow who works from Public Knowledge’s DC-based office, is leading the charge.

This year’s event is scheduled for Thursday, April 14 and will feature panel programming and an interactive reception featuring 3D printers in action, both of which you can RSVP for here. Panel topics include STEAM Education, the Environment, Bridging the Workforce Skills Gap, Social Impact, and — you guessed it — the Arts. Fractured Atlas Executive Director Adam Huttler will be participating as a panelist during the Arts session, which Courtney is moderating.

Planning to be in the D.C. area that week? Join us on Capitol Hill for the event! You can RSVP here. Even if you won’t be in town, you can follow the event goings on with #3DDC2016.
